The FutureMe Foundation is proud to announce that we will be hosting the World of Work Career Festival not only in Cape Town on 31 August, but now also for the first time in Durban in 2024!
Now in its 5th year, The World of Work Festival is about broadening career horizons and encouraging young people to pursue careers that will make a difference in our country. This year’s festivals, in both Cities, will showcase meaningful career opportunities in South Africa’s various thriving industries which will excite and motivate our current school-leaving generation – and we want you to be a part of it!
From retail management, to recycling, to finance, to health care, to data analytics, to eventing and hospitality, to engineering, to architecture, to building management – grade 10–11 learners from the Western Cape and KwaZulu-Natal can expect to see, hear, and touch real workplace opportunities in action, which they might otherwise not know is out there waiting for them.
We are calling on CEO’s, MDs, GM’s and all business owners who are passionate about local youth development and work-place talent for their businesses, to get in touch with us today to find out how they too can be a part of this exciting social enterprise which offers meaningful change to a passionate work-force in waiting.
